Sad rivalry

On this sunny afternoon, we are indoors enjoying the resuscitated central air, many thanks to Mr Rodney Chaskel. (bow to the man) Yawning as we watch a local boy and his team shame the Browns. I mean shame, 24-0 at the turn of the third quarter.

As we freeze, we are comforted with the thought that we have heat this winter.

Almost time

Star date July 20, 2007, that leaves about a little more than a month before school resumes. Yes the luxury of summer vacation is reaching the end. What have the kids done?? Practically NOTHING!

Well almost nothing, they have acquired some fishes, learnt to cook a few dishes, and one of them discovered a swim coach is in the house!

As the nights get cooler and the days bake the ants on the sidewalk, the garden begins to flourish. Tomatoes are turning yellow, the capsicum may be ripening (still need a ripe chart), the deer finally showed up and ate the sunflowers (Yes Deer, here, in the city; of course my dear finally believe me).

Recent rains pounded the roofs amidst cheering farmers who were dancing in the rain, jumping up and down in the muddy fields. Maybe they were just in the muddy fields. Comparable to the see-saw actions of pump prices, grain prices are dizzy like a rubber ball in a friction-free enclosure. This is making hard for someone who is trying to err..... well .... find some answers for someone else. *scratching head... HUH?

On a different note, I received an email that Big Ben has updated his blog. yeah. Sorry but another boy from PA has taken over the house, well 2. Sidney Crosby just made the resident list here, now, if he behaves, gets a hair cut and wait a few more years, he may have a chance with my oldest girl. Hahaha, he can only wish. This caught my eye on Ben's site,

1. Why is there a little logo on the rear?

2. $40.00 plus shipping and handling for this thing?

3. Summer is almost over!

4. Errr ... do they have XXXX-L?

5. Big Ben is selling bikinis..... awwwww.....

Back to FOOTBALL

I cant believe we are closing on the final stretch of football season.
What am I to do with Sundays, Monday evening, and the occasional Thursday?

*still pondering on the alternative.
*still thinking
*cannot arrive at an answer... yet.
*scratching head
*scratching neck
*scratching ****

No answer yet.

All I know is that I have just saved some money on a manicure as all my finger nails have been digested. Can I borrow yours? All the excitement from Sunday!
What games!!
A clencher of the closer from the Steelers and the Bengals. How the hell you missed that field goal!! What a closer from the buckeye duo on the Steelers team to squash the hunger of the Bengal's crave for the Superbowl. The only worth some praise to the Steelers this year, I may have to revive my first love, the 49ers. (Chewing Left Hand)

That is not the same Bears from a week ago. Not the same. Not the SAME!
Have the Chicago Bears become err ... err... errr ... Cuddly CARE BEARS?? Sad Sad Sad, so sad, it is even worse on my 3 year old's 17" Dora the Explorer, tv-combo (Chewing Right Hand).

Brett Favre, you stay cool, get a shave, you still have a mean arm!!
But I think you should take a rest. Still in love with the Superbowl XXXI, against the NE Patriots. Final score 35-21, sadly my dear lovely town of Boston cannot win a place in my heart then. That was THE GAME!! 99-yard Superbowl record kickoff return by Desmond Howard. Brett, also stretch his body to touch the pylon to make sure it was a TOUCHDOWN! Time to let your body rest my man. Then come back and WHOOP ASS!

On a similar note, the girls in the house are counting down to Superbowl too.

They can reclaim the tv on Sundays and Monday evenings. Sundays will not be filled with chants, jeers and lines beginning with "my grandma can do better ..." I guess all the body clashes, spit, sweat, slips, and the game is not their cup of Barbie tea. They better change brand.
