Washing floors rugs at the laundry mat.
As I await the countdown for my 25¢ drying time, a wave of realization swept into the air.
This is quiet and peaceful!
No screaming kids, blaring tv, attention deficit dogs pawing to be carried, not even annoying radio commercials whispered in the midst.
Ahhh .... if only they have wifi here.

This year's harvest is thin. Even the tomatoes, once abundant, has disappointingly low yields.
*Marinate fresh deseeded tomatoes in balsamic vinegar, sugar, salt & pepper. Grill/saute 1 minute. Top on burger or as a side.
